About ESCAPE:

When my daughter was a baby and when the moon was bright on a warm Southern California night, I would on occasion, bring her out to the backyard and stand in the cool damp grass and hold her to the sky to bask in the moonlight. She would giggle and marvel at the great expanse above her and she loved the change of perspective. She felt tall and weightless and so new. 
As a father and as an artist, I wanted to convey just a taste of that feeling; The dreamlike sensation that only a moonlit night can solicit and the desire as a parent to want to keep your child up in your arms where she is safe and protected from the dangers that dwell on the earth below.
