This piece is the last in a limited edition series of three. Each had their own unique color way. This is a mixed media of painting and screen print on wood panel with a satin varnish. 

I had this piece in my home as one of my personal collection, but after moving and substantially downsizing, I decided to offer it for sale. My son, Harrison, modeled for this when he was around 7 or 8. The scene is from a freeway shot heading up from Southern California to San Francisco. I pulled over and snapped a photo of the windmills and then digitally collaged my son wearing an old fashioned propeller beanie. Once the image is done, I generate a film positive to make my screen and build up the colors by hand before the final black outline to define the scene.
