About RUNNING WITH SCISSORS:
As always, I like to leave these vignettes open for interpretation . My personal take on this design resides in metaphor. The children are running, as children always seem to be running, with sharp objects, in a pack, in a frenzy of overflowing energy. Thankfully, most of the time, they avoid tripping and falling on their sharp objects. Sometimes I look around and see humanity running around in blind frenzy with powerful tools in hand; potentially creative and destructive at the same time. Let's hope that we avoid tripping.
