About DOUBLE DUTCH:

DOUBLE DUTCH was inspired by a school yard memory while growing up in Los Angeles in the 1970s and 80s.
My junior high school was very diverse; something I appreciated then and now. Kids would turn up the boom box, throw down cardboard, and call each other out for break dance competitions while girls jumped double Dutch. I was always impressed with the way they kept time while jumping and rhyming.
