About NEW DAY:
New Day is a hopeful design about a better tomorrow. Lately, I've been enjoying creating these simple little scenes as if they are a stage with children as performers. The kids are in control of the narrative, building their vision of the world through scenes they create. This is an important idea for me as I see my own kids wrestle with feelings of anxiety and lack of control in the face of existential challenges like climate change, war, and natural disasters; things they have no direct control over in real life as children, but will need to face with optimism and strength in the future they lead.
